FindYourDomain.com ("FindYourDomain," "we," "us," or "our") helps companies and individuals acquire, sell, and broker domain names. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit www.findyourdomain.com (the "Site"), contact us through the Site, or otherwise interact with our domain acquisition and brokerage services (together, the "Services"). It also explains the choices and rights you have regarding your personal information.

By using the Site or Services you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

We collect information you choose to give us, including when you submit our contact or inquiry form, email or call us, or engage us to acquire or sell a domain name. This may include:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your telephone number, company name, and job title.
• Inquiry details: the contents of your message, including any domain name(s) you are interested in buying or selling, your budget or asking price, your timeline, and any other information you choose to include. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information) in your message.
• Transaction details: if you engage us to acquire or sell a domain, information needed to complete the transaction, such as the identity of the registrant or purchaser, registrar account details you provide for transfer purposes, and the agreed price and terms.
• Communications: records of your correspondence and calls with us.

Payments. We do not collect or store payment card or bank account information through the Site. Purchase funds, brokerage fees, and domain transfers are handled through independent third-party escrow and payment providers (for example, Escrow.com). Information you provide to those providers is governed by their own privacy policies.

1.2 Information we collect automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect certain information from your browser or device using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 3). This information includes your IP address and approximate location derived from it; browser type and version; operating system and device type; language settings; the pages you view, the links you click, how long you stay, and how you scroll and interact with the Site; the website or search term that referred you to the Site; and unique identifiers assigned by cookies.

1.3 Information from other sources

Because our Services involve locating and negotiating with domain name owners and buyers, we may obtain information about you from public and third-party sources, including domain registration records (WHOIS/RDAP) and registrars, publicly available websites and business directories, professional networking sites, domain marketplaces and brokers, and our business partners and affiliates. We may combine this information with information you provide to us.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

• Providing the Services: responding to your inquiry; evaluating, negotiating, and facilitating the purchase, sale, or transfer of domain names; and communicating with you about a transaction.
• Marketing: sending you information about our Services, domain names that may interest you, market updates, and promotional communications. You may opt out at any time as described in Section 5.
• Analytics and Site improvement: understanding how visitors use the Site, measuring the effectiveness of our content and advertising, and improving the Site and Services.
• Advertising: showing you advertisements for our Services on other websites and platforms and measuring their performance (see Section 3).
• Security and fraud prevention: protecting the Site, our business, and our users; detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Legal compliance: complying with applicable law, responding to legal process and government requests, enforcing our Terms & Conditions, and protecting our rights and the rights of others.
• Business operations: record keeping, auditing, accounting, and evaluating or completing a corporate transaction.

We may also use information that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it no longer identifies you for any lawful purpose.

3. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies

3.1 What we use

The Site uses Google Tag Manager to deploy Google Analytics 4 ("Google Analytics"), a web analytics and advertising service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics places first-party cookies on your browser (which may persist for up to two years) and collects the information described in Section 1.2, including your IP address and interactions with the Site.

We have enabled Google Analytics advertising features, including Google Signals and integration with Google Ads. This means Google may associate your activity on the Site with information from your Google account (if you are signed in and have ads personalization enabled), use data collected on the Site to show you advertisements for our Services on other websites and apps, and use cookies and identifiers to collect information about your activity over time and across other, unaffiliated websites. Google's use of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and at "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

We do not currently use any other third-party analytics, advertising, social media, chat, or session-replay tools on the Site. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy.

3.2 Your choices

• Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some Site functions.
• Google opt-outs. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), and you can control personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com).
• Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising by participating companies at https://optout.aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance) and https://optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative).
• Global Privacy Control. We treat a Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal sent by your browser or extension as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser. When we detect a GPC signal we will disable Google Analytics advertising features for your browser session. Learn more at https://globalprivacycontrol.org.
• "Do Not Sell or Share" / targeted-advertising opt-out. You may also opt out at any time by contacting us as described in Section 10.

Do Not Track. Other than GPC signals as described above, the Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because no uniform industry standard for interpreting them has been adopted.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

• Counterparties to a domain transaction. When you ask us to acquire or sell a domain name, we may disclose information about you to the domain's current registrant, a prospective purchaser, registrars, escrow providers, and other parties necessary to evaluate or complete the transaction. We will not disclose your identity to a counterparty without your direction or consent, except as required to complete a transaction you have asked us to carry out.
• Brokers and referral partners. We may share inquiry details with outside domain brokers, marketplaces, or referral partners when we believe they can assist with your request, or refer your inquiry to them when the domain or service you are seeking is outside our offerings.
• Service providers. Companies that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, escrow and payment processing, and professional advisors (lawyers and accountants).
• Advertising partners. Google, as described in Section 3, which may use the information for its own purposes. Under certain state privacy laws this disclosure may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or "targeted advertising," and you may opt out as described in Section 3.2.
• Affiliates. Companies under common ownership or control with FindYourDomain.com, for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
• Legal and safety. When we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or is necessary to enforce our Terms & Conditions, to protect the rights, property, or safety of FindYourDomain.com, our users, or others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
• With your consent. For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.

5. Marketing Communications

If you contact us or engage our Services, we may send you marketing emails about our Services and domain opportunities. You can opt out at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by emailing contact@findyourdomain.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line. We will process your request within ten business days. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional or administrative messages about an inquiry or transaction you have initiated.

We do not send marketing text messages. If we introduce text messaging in the future, we will obtain any consent required by law before doing so.

6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you, including the categories and specific pieces of information, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, information we must keep to complete a transaction, comply with law, or defend legal claims);
• Receive a portable copy of the personal information you provided to us;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, of targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising, and of any profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not currently engage in such profiling).

To opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising, you may also use a GPC signal as described in Section 3.2.

Verification. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before fulfilling access, correction, deletion, or portability requests, generally by matching the information you provide with information already in our records (such as the email address from which you contacted us). We will only use information submitted in a request to verify and respond to it. Opt-out requests do not require verification.

Authorized agents. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authority (such as a signed permission or power of attorney) and may require you to verify your identity directly with us.

Timing and appeals. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days and will tell you if we need up to an additional 45 days. If we decline all or part of your request, we will explain why. If you live in a state whose privacy law provides a right of appeal, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response email with "Appeal" in the subject line; we will respond to appeals within 45 days (60 days where applicable) and, if we deny your appeal, will provide a way for you to contact your state Attorney General.

No discrimination. We will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your privacy rights.

7. Additional Disclosures for California Residents

This Section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for California residents and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"), and the California Online Privacy Protection Act. Terms used in this Section have the meanings given in the CCPA.

7.1 Categories of personal information collected, disclosed, sold, or shared

In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information from the sources and for the purposes described in Sections 1 and 2:

We do not collect or process "sensitive personal information" as defined by the CCPA, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. We do not use or disclose personal information for purposes incompatible with those described in this Privacy Policy without providing notice.

7.2 Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of Google Analytics advertising features (Section 3) involves making identifiers, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences available to Google for cross-context behavioral advertising, which the CCPA treats as "sharing" and may treat as a "sale." You may opt out at any time by clicking "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the Site footer, by enabling a GPC signal on your browser, or by contacting us (Section 10). We honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request for the browser from which the signal is sent.

7.3 Retention

We retain each category of personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in Section 2, as described in Section 9. Inquiry and transaction records are generally retained for the life of our relationship with you plus seven years for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes; analytics data is retained by Google for the period configured in our Google Analytics account (currently 14 months) and in aggregated form thereafter.

7.4 Your California rights

California residents have the rights described in Section 6 (to know/access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale/sharing, limit use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against), exercisable by the methods described there. We may require you to confirm a deletion request before acting on it.

7.5 "Shine the Light" (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83)

California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. 7.6 Do Not Track and third-party tracking

As described in Section 3.2, we honor GPC signals but do not otherwise respond to "Do Not Track" signals. Third parties (Google) may collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use the Site, as described in Section 3.

8. Additional Disclosures for Nevada and Other State Residents

8.1 Nevada

Nevada law (NRS 603A.300–.360) gives Nevada consumers the right to direct an operator not to sell certain "covered information" for monetary consideration. We do not sell covered information for monetary consideration. Nevada residents may nonetheless submit a verified request to opt out of any future sale by emailing contact@findyourdomain.com with "Nevada Opt-Out" in the subject line. This Privacy Policy identifies the categories of covered information we collect, the third parties with whom we share it, and the process for reviewing and requesting changes to your covered information (Section 6), and we will notify you of material changes as described in Section 13.

8.2 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Utah, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and other states

If you reside in a state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you have the rights described in Section 6 to the extent provided by that law, including the right to confirm whether we process your personal data, to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of it, to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data, and to appeal a decision we make on your request. We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration, but our use of Google Analytics advertising features constitutes "targeted advertising" and may constitute a "sale" under some of these laws; you may opt out through a GPC or other recognized universal opt-out signal, or by contacting us. We do not process sensitive data or the personal data of known children, and we do not engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Where required, we have entered into contracts with our processors governing their handling of your data.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, considering the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which we process it, our legal and contractual obligations, and the need to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Contact-form inquiries that do not lead to a transaction are generally retained for up to three years from our last communication with you; transaction records are retained for the duration of our relationship plus seven years; and marketing suppression (opt-out) records are retained indefinitely so that we continue to honor your choice. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

11. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is operated from, and the Services are provided in, the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country. By using the Site or contacting us, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States as described in this Privacy Policy.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies, FindYourDomain.com is the controller of your personal data and we process it on the following legal bases: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request (responding to inquiries and completing domain transactions); our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Site, marketing our Services to business contacts, and locating and negotiating with domain owners and buyers), balanced against your rights; your consent (where required for analytics and advertising cookies and for marketing emails to individuals, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations. Transfers to the United States are made under applicable safeguards, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where our service providers participate in it. In addition to the rights in Section 6, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, request restriction of processing, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will set analytics and advertising cookies only after you accept them through the Site's cookie banner.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and the use of reputable hosting and service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use care in deciding what information you send to us, and notify us promptly at contact@findyourdomain.com if you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure.

13. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 for purposes of selling or sharing personal information under California law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including registrars, escrow providers, and social media platforms. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any website you visit.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, provide additional notice (such as a prominent statement on the Site or an email to the address we have on file for you) before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of a revised Privacy Policy means that you accept the revised policy.
